INDUSTRY DATA

The Group for fire protection and safety at work has members from the field of manufacturing and turnover of fire protection equipment, protection and saving equipment, personal protection equipment and services in the section of fire protection and safety and health at work.
With the adoption of the Rulebook for compulsory FP equipment in the vehicles (Official Gazette of RM No. 31/2010 and Official Gazette of RM No.48/2010), due to not harmonized rulebooks adopted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Protection and Saving Directorate, companies are facing problems in their operation.
The implementation of the Rulebooks bring  to serious consequences  opposite to the development of the economy, destabilizing this economic  branch  (trade with fire protection and safety at work equipment), and bringing the companies at financial collapse which results with dismissal from work of part of the employees , and in the worst case to closing of the companies.
By adoption of the Rulebook for compulsory FP equipment in the vehicles, in order to help citizens and legal entities, the companies which are dealing with trade of this equipment invest irrecoverable means to purchase FP apparatus that are now in warehouses and according to the current demand 20 years will pass until all the apparatus are sold (with passed deadline). With these invested means it is calculated that one solid plant for production of FP apparatus can be build that will employ new workers and will satisfy the needs of the South Balkan region.

Additional problem in the operation is the inconvenient determining of fire protection apparatus of kind and quantities in different size of motor vehicles or the incorrect classification of vehicles.
