At the initiative of the Regional Chamber based in Kichevo, on 17 June 2026, the Economic Chamber, in cooperation with the Public Revenue Office, organized a professional workshop dedicated to the process of implementing the electronic invoicing (e-invoice) system.

The workshop was intended for companies from the Kichevo region, with the aim of providing timely information, practical guidance, and support in preparations for the introduction of the new digital solution. The event attracted significant interest from the business community, with more than 40 company representatives in attendance, confirming the need for continuous education and information-sharing throughout the process of business digitalization.

During the workshop, representatives of the Public Revenue Office presented the key features of the e-invoicing system, its functionalities, legal aspects, and the expected benefits for companies. Special emphasis was placed on a practical demonstration of the system through the processing of various business scenarios and the use of the application, including e-invoice types, transaction categories, registration procedures, e-invoicing processes, receipt of e-invoices, and functionalities such as acceptance, rejection, cancellation, and correction. This enabled participants to gain direct insight into the system’s implementation and day-to-day use.

In addition, current activities related to the establishment of the system, the planned processes, and the relevant tax indicators important for its operation were presented. Participants had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the challenges that may arise during the integration of the system into existing business practices, as well as with possible ways to overcome them.

The workshop concluded with an interactive discussion during which participants asked questions and exchanged views on the practical aspects of applying electronic invoicing across different economic sectors. The meeting enabled the identification of the specific needs and expectations of companies while also contributing to a clearer understanding of the opportunities offered by digitalization in the field of electronic invoicing.
