The Economic Chamber of North Macedonia, in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the RNM, has taken steps to create new opportunities for companies in the country by organizing a meeting with representatives of the Port of Kavala, Greece.

During the meeting, the Vice President of the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia, Dr. Jelisaveta Georgieva Joveveska, and the Executive Director of the Port of Kavala, Angelos Vlachos, discussed the benefits available to Macedonian companies using the port's services.

Executive Director Vlachos presented the capabilities of the Port of Kavala, currently state-owned, with plans to privatize it early next year. He explained that the port has sufficient capacity to meet company needs, offering faster and more competitive services for all types of transport except container shipping.

Vlachos expressed readiness to meet with representatives of Macedonian companies to initiate and explore potential collaborations.

In this context, we invite all interested companies to a direct meeting with the Director of the Port of Kavala and his team on Thursday, 14 November 2024, at the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia, 3rd-floor conference room, from 16:00 to 18:00. During this meeting, all details and conditions for potential collaboration with the port will be presented directly.
