Strengthening cooperation between local government and the private sector, encouraging investment, and unlocking the tourism and economic potential of the Municipality of Chucher Sandevo were the main topics of a working meeting between the President of the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia, Branko Azeski, and the Mayor of the Municipality of Chucher Sandevo, Zoran Bajovski.

The meeting was also attended by Dragancho Apostolski, Advisor at the Directorate for Economic and Public Diplomacy, and Ljupcho Velkovski, owner of the INBOX Training Center, where the meeting was held.

The discussions emphasized the need to create more favorable conditions for the development of micro-enterprises and small businesses, as well as to encourage new investments in the municipality.

President Azeski stressed that realizing the municipality's potential and creating the conditions for sustainable local economic development requires an active partnership between the state, local government, and the private sector. In this context, he highlighted the importance of promoting entrepreneurship, creating opportunities for starting new businesses, and developing tourism as a significant export-oriented sector.

Mayor Bajovski emphasized his commitment to changing the existing image of Chucher Sandevo and positioning the municipality as an attractive destination for tourists, as well as a place where entrepreneurs will recognize opportunities for investment and business development.

The municipality possesses significant natural and cultural-historical assets, including a large number of churches and monasteries which, as noted during the meeting, could be utilized far more effectively to strengthen its tourism offering.

During the meeting, President Azeski was presented with a certificate of appreciation in recognition of his support for the development of local and rural businesses.

Chucher Sandevo is one of the larger suburban rural municipalities located in the immediate vicinity of the capital city. It boasts considerable natural resources, with its forests and mountainous landscape providing clean, high-quality air and excellent conditions for nature-based activities, sports, and recreation. An additional advantage is the absence of industrial facilities that could represent a significant source of pollution.
