Sasho Naumoski on Business Club: The Chamber is Not Just an Advocate for the Business Sector’s Interests but Institutionalizes the Voice of Business

06/01/2025

The sustainability and growth of companies, new investments, and the presence of Macedonian companies in new markets are among the topics discussed by Branko Azeski, President of the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia, and Sasho Naumoski, Chief Executive Officer of Vitaminka Prilep and Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Macedonia, in the latest episode of the Business Club podcast.

According to Naumoski, one key rule for being successful in the market and growing a business is to keep pace with changes and be part of them. Otherwise, rejecting change will lead to stagnation and eventually disappearing from the market.

"Security and caution are the biggest factors in business. At the moment, the safety of capital is not even a topic of consideration. We simply focus on developing, expanding the company, investing in new facilities and products, and breaking into new markets," said Naumoski, the leader of one of the largest export-oriented and production-focused companies in Macedonia. With its continuous business strategy, Vitaminka operates in markets in 60 countries worldwide, and its product Stobi Flips is a brand with a 60% penetration rate in foreign markets.

"We focus on stable exports and stable planning. We do not experience spikes in either exports or the domestic market. The philosophy of our company is to grow steadily, conquer markets gradually, and maintain stability in those markets."

Sasho Naumoski graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Prilep, where he later completed his master's studies. He began his professional career at a young age as a sales representative in the private sector and later founded his own private company, Salida. He entered the food industry when he joined Vitaminka, where he worked in various roles before becoming its CEO, a position he still holds today.

In his conversation with President Azeski, Naumoski highlighted the importance of the Economic Chamber, which, as an institution, holds significant value for Vitaminka. The Chamber serves as a support system for all movements in the economy and a bridge for balancing business needs with real economic developments, while also providing solutions for overcoming challenges. According to Naumoski, one of the Chamber’s greatest strengths is uniting companies, which also gives rise to its other strength—its ability to influence and drive change. The Chamber does not merely represent the interests of the business sector but institutionalizes the voice of business, presenting it in a strong and powerful framework to achieve necessary changes and overcome obstacles.

"The Chamber means a lot to businesses in Macedonia. Everything we want to articulate and express regarding operational shortcomings in Macedonia or specific changes, we do so through the Chamber. Everything we’ve needed for foreign markets, we’ve received from the Chamber; all the training and education we’ve needed, the Chamber has offered, and we’ve used it to the fullest. We see that our success is closely tied to the Chamber. A large part of our results stems from close collaboration with the Chamber," emphasized Sasho Naumoski.

Since 2015, Naumoski has served as Vice President of the Economic Chamber of Macedonia. According to him, the economy must take its rightful place in the country’s overall progress, and the Chamber is the one guiding the business sector through the necessary changes.

In 2023, he was appointed Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Macedonia.
