In response to the current demand for table eggs in the pre-Easter period, the Poultry Industry Group within the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia informs consumers that the domestic market remains stable and well-supplied with high-quality and safe eggs.
As a traditional product and an essential part of Easter customs, eggs are readily available in retail chains, markets, and farm stores in sufficient quantities.
On 24 March 2025 (Monday), a working meeting was held at the Economic Chamber, bringing together companies from this sector, Chamber members, and representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Economy, led by Minister Cvetan Tripunovski.
The largest egg producers and exporters announced active collaboration with distributors and retailers to meet the increased demand during this period while ensuring that prices remain competitive in line with market trends. The Ministry and relevant institutions continue to monitor the situation and are prepared to take measures if additional market stabilization is needed.
Consumers are reminded to exercise caution when purchasing eggs—checking their expiration dates and origin, while also supporting local producers.
