Pekabesko Celebrates 45 Years with a Donation of Medical Equipment for the Pediatrics Clinic

19/12/2024

This year marks a significant milestone for the Macedonian brand Pekabesko, as it celebrates 45 years since its establishment. Through successful operations, recognized quality, investments, innovations in production, and genuine care for the community, the company has once again demonstrated why it deserves its leading position in the production of cured meat products and logistical distribution services.

"Children are our greatest treasure. As a socially responsible company, we decided to reallocate the financial resources of €20,000, initially intended for the celebration of our 45th anniversary, to purchase medical equipment for the needs of the Pediatrics Clinic in Skopje. I would like to thank the Ministry of Health for their partnership and professionalism in this process, identifying priority needs to ensure better services for newborns and greater peace of mind for families," stated Slobodan Kutrevski, First Executive Director of Pekabesko, following a meeting with the Minister of Health, Arben Taravari.

With this donation, Pekabesko is directly supporting the activities of the Public Health Institution University Clinic for Pediatric Diseases by donating one incubator, two baby warmers, and two syringe infusion pumps specifically for the Department of Neonatology and Special Neonatal Intensive Care at the Clinic.

Additionally, in collaboration with the Municipality of Ilinden, Pekabesko has provided a €10,000 donation designated for the construction of a children’s playground in Ilinden. This is the municipality where, in 2012, Pekabesko inaugurated its state-of-the-art production and logistics center, a facility that the company has invested €28.3 million of its own funds into over the past 13 years.

These activities are just part of Pekabesko’s ongoing commitment to community care, showcasing both its social awareness and the high regard it holds for the support it receives on the Macedonian and export markets. The company continually strengthens its socially responsible component, builds partnerships, and contributes to numerous cultural, sports, youth, and humanitarian activities.
